California Home Company, Inc. is a Sacramento-based residential infill development and acquisitions company focused on identifying vacant land, infill opportunities, ADU opportunities, lot splits, and value-add residential properties throughout California. Due to increased growth and expansion, we are seeking a highly intelligent and detail-oriented Junior Real Estate Acquisitions & Data Analyst to join our remote team.
 

What You’ll Do

• Research vacant land and infill opportunities
• Analyze zoning and development potential
• Research absentee owners and ownership records
• Identify ADU and lot split opportunities
• Review GIS maps, MLS, county assessor records, and tax records
• Organize and update Google Sheets databases
• Add zoning summaries, notes, photos, and recommendations
• Help identify properties for acquisition and direct mail campaigns
• Continuously improve research systems and data organization
   

Requirements

• Strong Google Sheets / Excel skills
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
• Good written and spoken English
• Reliable internet connection and quiet workspace
• Fast computer navigation and typing skills
• Ability to work independently after training
• Comfortable joining camera meetings and screen-sharing sessions
• Ability to overlap 1–2 hours weekly with California time

Compensation & Growth

• USD $750–$1,500 per month depending on qualifications and experience

• Approximately 8 hours/day, 5 days/week

Trial Period

This role begins with a paid trial period with structured evaluations at 14 and 30 days to ensure mutual fit and long-term success.
