QA Lead (SportsTech)

We’re looking for a strong and hands-on QA Lead to join a fast-growing SportsTech / iGaming product company.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building QA processes from scratch, setting up automation infrastructure, improving product quality end-to-end, and bringing structure to fast-moving environments.

The company develops digital products in the sports betting and gaming space, including web, mobile, and backend platforms used by large-scale international audiences.

At the beginning, the role will be highly hands-on and technical, with the opportunity to gradually grow into a more strategic and managerial position — including building and leading a QA team over time.

Responsibilities:

• Own the QA direction and quality processes end-to-end.
• Build and improve QA workflows, standards, and automation infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks (Playwright preferred).
• Perform hands-on testing across web, mobile, and backend products.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering and DevOps teams.
• Ensure product stability, release quality, and testing scalability.
• Introduce structure, best practices, and continuous improvement processes.

• Participate in hiring, mentoring, and building the QA team over time.

   

Requirements:

• 4+ years of hands-on QA experience.
• Strong automation testing experience (4+ years is a strong advantage).
• Experience building automation frameworks and QA processes from scratch.
• Solid experience testing web, mobile, and backend systems.
• Experience with Playwright — significant advantage.
• 2+ years leading QA teams.
• Strong ownership mindset with the ability to work independently.
• Organized, proactive, and comfortable in fast-paced environments.
• Passion for building systems, improving workflows, and scaling QA processes.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
