Senior/Middle WordPress Developer

We are looking for a WordPress Growth Developer to join a fast-paced product environment managing a portfolio of high-traffic marketing and SaaS websites.

This is not a traditional WordPress content-management role and not a pure backend engineering position. The role combines custom WordPress development, CRO experimentation, analytics/tracking implementation, technical SEO, and landing-page production in a high-velocity growth environment.

You will work closely with marketing, design, and content teams across multiple active brands and websites.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain custom WordPress themes, templates, and functionality
• Develop landing pages from Figma with pixel-perfect implementation
• Implement and maintain A/B tests and CRO experiments using tools like VWO
• Configure and debug tracking systems, events, GTM, Mixpanel, and dataLayer integrations
• Work on technical SEO improvements including schema, redirects, canonicals, URL structures, and page speed optimization
• Troubleshoot responsive, cross-browser, and plugin-related issues
• Work with ACF, custom post types, hooks, filters, and shortcodes
• Support WordPress infrastructure and deployments in AWS/EC2 environments
• Collaborate in a remote multicultural team using Asana

Requirements

• Strong experience with WordPress development
• Solid PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and MySQL skills
• Experience with ACF, custom post types, hooks, filters, and plugin/theme development
• Experience implementing pixel-perfect designs from Figma
• Understanding of technical SEO principles and website performance optimization
• Experience with CRO, A/B testing, or experimentation platforms
• Experience with GTM, analytics, tracking events, or Mixpanel
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Experience with Git
• English and Ukrainian proficiency

Nice to Have

• Experience with VWO or similar experimentation tools
• Experience working with high-traffic marketing websites
• AWS / EC2 familiarity
• Understanding of PPC landing pages and growth marketing workflows
