The Digital Health organization is a technology team focused on next-generation Digital Health capabilities which deliver on the mission and vision to deliver Insight Driven Care. This role will operate within the Digital Health Applications & Interoperability subgroup of the broader Digital Health team, focused on patient engagement, care coordination, AI, healthcare analytics & interoperability amongst other advanced technologies which enhance our product portfolio with new services, while improving clinical & patient experiences.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Python backend frameworks (FastAPI, Flask, or Django REST) and building RESTful APIs
• Advanced knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript and React.js (incl. UI libraries like Material-UI)
• Solid understanding of HTML/CSS and modern front-end tooling (e.g., Webpack)
• Experience with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or DynamoDB)
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g., S3, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFront)
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git)
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, ELK, Prometheus)

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience in Healthcare / Medical domain (HL7, FHIR, DICOM)
• Familiarity with EHR systems (EPIC, Cerner)
• Experience with SaMD or regulated software
• Understanding of SDLC and enterprise software development
• Experience working with distributed teams

Job responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based solutions in line with architecture standards and business requirements
• Build and maintain high-quality web applications using React.js (Material UI)
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate RESTful APIs and AWS-based microservices
• Work closely with UI/UX designers to ensure technical feasibility and the best user experience
• Participate in system design, deployment, and releases, ensuring compliance with security and regulatory standards
• Identify and resolve performance and functionality issues, ensuring system reliability and data integrity
• Write clean, testable code (unit and integration tests) and participate in debugging and optimization
• Contribute to technical documentation and system specifications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver effective solutions
