WordPress Developer
We are looking for a reliable part-time WordPress developer to help us improve and maintain our company websites.
Our main current needs are:
- Implementing a new website design in WordPress
- Building and improving custom WordPress functionality
- Creating a “playground” plugin for WordPress where users can try our product/service directly from the website
About the work
You will work with our existing WordPress websites and help us turn designs into clean, responsive, production-ready pages.
We already have a designer working on the new design, so your role will be focused on implementation, WordPress development, frontend quality, and plugin functionality.
This is not just simple content editing. We need someone who is comfortable working with custom WordPress development and can take responsibility for technical implementation.
Responsibilities
- Implement new website designs in WordPress
- Build responsive pages based on Figma/design files
- Create and customize WordPress themes/templates
- Build or improve custom WordPress plugins
- Develop a WordPress “playground” plugin where users can interact with our product/service
- Work with forms, API integrations, user flows, and dynamic content
- Optimize pages for performance, SEO, and maintainability
- Fix bugs and improve existing WordPress functionality
- Communicate clearly and provide realistic estimates
Requirements
- Strong experience with WordPress development
- Good knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Experience with custom themes and plugins
- Ability to implement designs accurately and responsively
- Experience working with Figma or similar design tools
- Understanding of WordPress best practices
- Ability to write clean, maintainable code
- Good communication and reliability
- Ability to work independently without constant supervision
Nice to have
- Experience with REST APIs
- Experience building interactive tools, calculators, demos, or playgrounds
- Experience with WooCommerce or payment flows
- Basic understanding of SEO and page speed optimization
- Experience with multilingual websites
- Experience with Git
- NextJS
Workload
Part-time, flexible schedule.
Expected workload: around 10–20 hours per week, depending on current tasks and your availability.
We are looking for someone long-term, not just for a one-time task.
