Junior Integration Engineer (Mobile and IoT, Krakow based)

This position is remote/hybrid.

But the devices are located in Kraków, so the candidate needs to be Kraków-based to test them at home/or at the office once we open one.

We’re excited to offer a long-term opportunity for a technically curious Junior Integration Engineer (Mobile & IoT) to join a team of professional engineers and designers. Together, you’ll be working on a US-based product that’s making a significant impact on the PropTech market.

Our primary technology stack revolves around JavaScript. We use:

• React for the front-end,
• Node.js for the back-end,

• React Native for mobile development.

   

The platform also integrates with connected devices and smart property technologies, making this role especially interesting for candidates interested in mobile ecosystems, IoT, and hardware/software interactions.

What will your responsibilities include:

• Configure, test, and troubleshoot smart devices and connected hardware systems;
• Support testing and validation of mobile applications and SDK integrations across Android and iOS platforms;
• Assist with reproducing and investigating software/hardware integration issues;
• Work with physical devices in a lab/test environment;
• Analyze requirements and help validate technical flows and integrations;
• Create and maintain technical and testing documentation;
• Collaborating closely with developers to identify and resolve issues;
• Support exploratory, integration, and API testing activities;

• Assist with maintaining stable testing and device environments.

   

Requirements:

• Some commercial experience in software engineering, mobile development, QA, technical support, or a related technical role
• Basic understanding of mobile technologies and development concepts;
• Familiarity with at least some of the following:
  • React Native
  • SDK integrations
  • Kotlin
  • Swift
• Interest in IoT systems, smart devices, or hardware/software integrations
• Comfort working with physical devices and technical documentation
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Engineering mindset with curiosity about how systems work together

• Good English communication skills.

   

Additional (good-to-have) skills

• Experience with Automated testing;
• Experience with CI/CD (CircleCI, GitHub Actions);
• Basic hands-on experience with hardware setup and configuration (smart home devices, IoT systems, or similar);
• Familiarity with keyless entry systems, smart locks, thermostats, or other connected devices;
• Comfort working with physical devices in a test environment — setting up, configuring, and troubleshooting hardware based on technical documentation;
• Experience with API testing;
• Basic understanding of mobile logs and debugging tools.
