Middle PHP/WordPress Developer

Now we are looking for a talented PHP/WordPress Developer to join our in-house Web development team with part-time engagement (about 20 hours/week).

Responsibilities:

• Modification of existing templates, refinement of functionality
• Creation and layout of new templates
• Bug fix on website (from visual to functional bugs and email delivery)
• Landing page and themes design implementation
• WordPress plugins development
• Website hosting

Requirements:

• 2+ years of commercial experience as a PHP/WP developer
• Intermediate level of English
• Experience in creating and changing WP themes and plugins
• WordPress templating structure understanding
• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, SASS/SCSS, Bootstrap ¾, MySQL
• Grid layout and adaptive design understanding
• Cross-browser layout, compliance with W3C standards
• Understanding the basics of usability and SEO-layout
• JavaScript, jQuery base knowledge
• Experience with Version Control: Git
• Experience with legacy code maintenance
• Attention to details, self-motivated
• Ability to dig into, identify and resolve problems

Will be a plus:

• Experience in working with APIs for WP
• Modular CSS methodologies
• PHP patterns understanding
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL
• Gulp experience
• REST API experience
• Working with Figma
