Senior Systems Analyst

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Systems Analyst who will play a key role in analyzing and integrating global payment provider ecosystems. In this position, you will work closely with complex API infrastructures, studying technical documentation and identifying the exact endpoints required to build reliable and scalable payment solutions for real-time transaction processing.

Your main responsibility will be to design and document the complete transaction flow - from the initial technical request to final testing and launch. You will translate complex provider specifications into clear technical requirements and ensure that integrations align with both customer needs and provider capabilities.

You will also oversee the full integration lifecycle, continuously monitoring API updates, schema changes, and evolving provider requirements to maintain stable and efficient payment operations.

Responsibilities

Product & Integration Analysis
-Analyze customer and business requirements to determine the most suitable payment provider solutions and integration approaches.
-Research and audit payment provider APIs, identifying essential endpoints, workflows, and operational logic.
-Design end-to-end payment flows and define how systems interact in real time.

Documentation & Technical Coordination
-Prepare detailed integration documentation, including technical specifications, endpoint mappings, and functional requirements.
-Create and manage PRDs and technical tasks for development teams, ensuring accurate implementation of payment logic and validations.
-Maintain backlog items and coordinate integration requirements across teams.

Testing & Delivery
-Participate in integration testing and validation together with Operations and technical teams before production release.
-Monitor integration performance and support updates when provider APIs or schemas change.

Requirements
-Strong experience working with APIs, including testing tools such as Postman or Insomnia.
-Ability to analyze Swagger/OpenAPI documentation and understand complex API structures.
-Experience designing system flows and sequence diagrams using tools like Lucidchart, Miro, or Mermaid.
-Solid knowledge of JSON and XML data structures and field mapping between systems.
-Understanding of payment technologies, including webhooks, callbacks, and real-time transaction processing.
-Experience working with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools for documentation and backlog management.
-Good understanding of authentication and security standards such as OAuth, JWT, and API Keys.
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
-Ability to manage integration timelines and coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
-Experience working in cross-functional environments with Product, Operations, and Development teams.
