Atlassian Jira Administrator

We are looking for an experienced Atlassian Jira Administrator to join our team and take ownership of the development, support, and scaling of our internal Atlassian ecosystem.

In this role, you will work with Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Confluence to help teams build efficient workflows and ITSM processes, automate business operations, and integrate Atlassian products with internal and external systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and maintain solutions based on Atlassian products (Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence)
• Develop and support complex automations using Automation for Jira, ScriptRunner, or similar tools
• Integrate the Atlassian ecosystem with internal and external systems via REST APIs, webhooks, and middleware
• Develop custom scripts, listeners, validators, and other custom extensions
• Build and maintain integrations with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, GitHub, Azure DevOps, etc.)
• Optimize the performance, stability, and scalability of Jira environments
• Participate in migration and transformation initiatives, including Cloud-to-Cloud migrations
• Create and maintain technical documentation, best practices, and governance standards
• Consult internal teams on workflows, service processes, and business process automation

Requirements:

• 3+ years of commercial experience working with Atlassian products/ecosystem
• Strong expertise in Jira administration (workflows, schemes, permission models, JQL)
• Hands-on experience with Jira Service Management (ITSM / ESM processes)
• Experience with scripting (Groovy for ScriptRunner or similar approaches)
• Understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, and integration patterns
• Experience working with JSON and a basic understanding of HTTP
• Experience integrating Atlassian products with DevOps and CI/CD tooling
• English level sufficient for reading and working with technical documentation

• Experience developing Forge or Connect applications
• Experience with Microsoft SharePoint or Power Platform
• Practical experience with Identity / SSO / Atlassian Access
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale Atlassian environments
