About the ROLE
We are looking for a very experienced Full-Stack Engineer to join the Client’s Technical Team for the development of a new portal and extension of an existing backend platform. The portal will enable small and mid-sized businesses to book staffing services fully online, supporting the company’s transition to a scalable B2B self-service platform.

Team Size: 50 people overall
Team Location: the US and Ukraine

TECH STACK
Ruby on Rails + React.js + PostgreSQL + REST APIs + AWS

Requirements

- 6+ years of backend development experience with Ruby on Rails.
- 4+ years of designing and building REST APIs and backend integrations.
- 4+ years of working with PostgreSQL, including data modelling and performance optimization.
- 4+ years of strong experience with React.js / TypeScript / JavaScript.
- Familiarity with AWS-based infrastructure.
- English Level: at least strong B2 level (Upper-Intermediate)

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and extend backend services using Ruby on Rails.
- Build and maintain scalable APIs supporting the new customer portal and mobile integrations.
- Improve and optimize PostgreSQL data models and database performance.
- Contribute to the evolution of a microservices-based architecture.
- Collaborate with the frontend part using React.js stack (framework)
