DBA Engineer

We are looking for DBA Engineers to join our teams!

Requirements:
- Around 4+ years of experience as a Database Administrator (DBA) or similar role;

- Expertise in relational databases PostgreSQL , NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis) and analytical database ClickHouse;

- Resolve complex performance bottlenecks in large-scale environments;

- Strong knowledge of database optimization, indexing, partitioning, and replication;

- Experience in performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting slow queries across different SQL dialects;

- Implement database changes with minimal business impact

- Experience with cloud database platforms;

- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) for database deployment and management;

- Experience with observability platforms (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK stack) for database monitoring and logging;

- Familiarity with database backup, recovery, failover, and disaster recovery strategies;

- Design and implement HA/DR architectures;

- Troubleshooting of problems, problem analysis and solution implementation;

- Experience with cloud database services (AWS RDS, Aurora);

- Knowledge of scripting for automation ( Bash, SQL scripts);

- Understanding of data security best practices, encryption, and compliance requirements;
- Experience working with large, complex datasets and high-traffic applications;

- Ability to work with DevOps teams to integrate databases into CI/CD workflows;

- Open mind ,self deduction and common analytical skills;

Responsibilities:

- Design, implement, and maintain high-performance database systems to support large-scale applications;

- Optimize database queries, indexing strategies, and partitioning to enhance performance;

- Monitor database health, ensuring high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery;

- Manage and fine-tune SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, ClickHouse);

- Implement database security policies, encryption, and access control to protect sensitive data;

- Automate database backups, replication, and failover mechanisms.

- Work closely with developers to optimize queries, schema design, and data modeling;

- Perform capacity planning and monitor database growth trends.

- Ensure compliance with data governance, GDPR, and other regulatory requirements;

- Stay updated with the latest database technologies, trends, and best practices;

- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) for database provisioning and configuration, migrations and versioning;

- Participate in defining and enforcing data modeling standards and best practices.
