Project / Program Manager - Sustainability

Project / Program Manager is responsible for managing complex projects and programs within a multi-stakeholder, cross-functional environment. The position leads key initiatives related to sustainability, ESG, and regulatory compliance, covering areas such as CO₂ emissions, water management, energy efficiency, and ESG reporting.

A central focus of this role is the coordination and integration of compliance, sustainability initiatives, and reporting frameworks across the organization. The role requires close collaboration with senior leadership, operational teams, sustainability functions, and other key stakeholders to ensure consistency, alignment, and delivery against the organization’s strategic objectives.

The role holder is also accountable for developing strategies, implementation roadmaps, and value plans that support both business priorities and regulatory requirements.

Your tasks:

• Manage end-to-end sustainability and compliance projects across the organization
• Coordinate the collection, validation, and reporting of ESG/sustainability data for internal and external stakeholders
• Monitor regulatory developments and risks, implementing actions to ensure compliance and mitigate exposure
• Define KPIs, success metrics, and value realization plans for ongoing initiatives
• Develop sustainability strategies and implementation roadmaps (e.g., water management strategies, CO₂ reduction pathways)
• Support the integration of new entities into organizational processes and reporting frameworks
• Foster cross-functional collaboration and ensure alignment among key stakeholders
• Conduct assessments, compliance analyses, and recommend continuous improvement actions
• Ensure all activities comply with applicable regulations, ISO standards, and Responsible Sourcing Principles 

Requirements:

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in Project or Program Management within complex, multi-entity organizations
• Proven track record in leading sustainability and regulatory initiatives (e.g., CO₂, energy, water, ESG)
• Experience managing complex sustainability data and reporting to external stakeholders or regulatory bodies
• Strong knowledge of risk management, particularly in compliance and regulatory environments
• Ability to define, track, and deliver KPIs and value realization plans
• Familiarity with sustainability and compliance frameworks, including ISO standards and Responsible Sourcing Principles
• Experience conducting assessments and developing strategies and implementation roadmaps (e.g., water strategy, emissions reduction pathways)
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, including engagement with senior leadership and cross-functional teams
• Experience with integration projects and harmonization of processes and reporting frameworks
• Ability to work effectively in ambiguous environments and align stakeholders with differing expectations
• Fluency in English
