Data Analyst (BA, SQL) / LVIV (offline)

Requirements:

BS/MS in Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science
Upper-intermediate level of spoken and written English
Strong problem solving and analytical abilities required. In particular, quantitative capabilities in the areas of Statistics, Operations Research and/or Econometric.
Direct experience working with complex MS Excel, database (MS SQL, etc.)
Experience and understanding in the supply chain is a big plus

Required Skills:

Must have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills
Ability to work effectively in a matrix-management environment with extended team members
A willingness to both learn and teach the software
Ability to self-manage time

Responsibilities:

Deploy and implement GAINS software
Logical and functional analysis of business processes
Working with DB, data processing and analysis — finding trends, dependencies, identifying ways of adapting and optimizing
Preparation of SQL based charts, reports, presentations
Working closely with clients and fellow team members, implementing new business process architecture
Project Management support, including: development of high-level plans/milestones and detailed work plans, and issue resolution
Working closely with IT resources to help identify data integration requirements
Providing assistance as required with configuration, training, testing, and operational deployment
