Role overview 
The Partnership Manager (HQ) is responsible for identifying, developing, and managing strategic partnerships that drive revenue growth, market expansion, and product scalability across AsiaFinance Group’s markets. This role focuses on building strong relationships with external partners such as fintech platforms, payment providers, banks, aggregators, merchants, lead-generation partners, and technology vendors. The Partnership Manager plays a critical role in shaping AFG’s ecosystem strategy and supporting long-term commercial objectives. This position is a key contributor to AFG’s long‑term commercial strategy and offers strong potential for professional growth within the commercial and strategic development vertical, subject to performance and business needs.
 

Key Responsibilities 
 

Partnership Strategy & Development
• Identify, assess, and onboard new strategic partnerships aligned with AFG’s business and market expansion goals.
• Develop partnership strategies for different markets, channels, and product lines.
• Evaluate partnership opportunities through commercial, operational, and risk lenses, including business case preparation.
• Conduct market and competitor research to identify potential partners and partnership models. 

 

Partnership Management & Growth
• Own and manage relationships with existing partners, ensuring long-term value creation and performance optimization.
• Negotiate commercial terms, partnership agreements, and SLAs in collaboration with legal, finance, and risk teams.
• Monitor partner performance using KPIs, identify improvement opportunities, and drive continuous optimization.
• Coordinate joint initiatives, launches, and growth projects with partners across multiple markets.
• Support new product launches and market entries by enabling relevant local and regional partnerships. 

 

Procurement & Project Management
• Support procurement activities through supplier research, participation in negotiations, assistance with contracting, and relationship maintenance with commercial counterparties.
• Prepare analytical reports, presentations, business cases, and insights for senior management.
• Lead or support cross‑functional projects related to business development and market expansion.
• Track market trends, regulatory developments, and partnership best practices within fintech and financial services. 

 

Requirements
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 4–7 years of experience in partnerships, business development, alliances, or commercial roles.
• Prior experience in fintech, financial services, digital lending, payments, or high-growth technology companies is a strong advantage.
• Proven experience in negotiating and managing commercial partnerships.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess commercial viability and partnership performance.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
• Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
• Proficiency in research tools, CRM/BD systems, and MS Office applications; strong skills in PowerPoint and Excel.
• English level not lower than upper‑intermediate.
