Blockchain/Web3 Game Developer

We are developing a mobile-first game featuring match-3 gameplay combined with a deep meta-game (farm development, character progression, live events, social systems, and live-ops features), enhanced with blockchain/Web3 functionality such as digital ownership, player economies, and decentralized integrations.
 

We are looking for a Blockchain / Web3 Game Developer who will be responsible for:

• Designing and implementing blockchain-based game systems and integrations.
• Building secure, scalable smart contracts and backend services.
• Integrating Web3 functionality into the live game ecosystem.
• Collaborating closely with game design, backend, economy, and client teams.
• Ensuring security, performance, and maintainability across blockchain-related systems.
   

This role goes beyond simply integrating wallets or NFTs — it requires ownership of the full Web3 technical ecosystem within a live game product.
 

Experience

• 4+ years in software engineering or game backend development.
• Proven experience developing blockchain/Web3 applications.
• Experience shipping live products or online multiplayer/live-service games.
• Experience with mobile game ecosystems is a strong plus.
• Previous experience with player-driven economies or digital asset systems is highly desirable.
   

Blockchain / Web3 Expertise

• Strong understanding of blockchain architecture and decentralized systems.
• Experience developing and deploying smart contracts.
• Deep understanding of:
  • Wallet integrations.
  • Token standards (ERC-20, ERC-721, ERC-1155, or equivalents).
  • On-chain/off-chain architecture.
  • Gas optimization and transaction efficiency.
  • Security best practices and exploit prevention.
• Experience integrating blockchain systems into live products.
• Familiarity with marketplace and digital ownership systems.
