GlobalLogic is seeking a QA Automation Lead to drive the quality strategy for a high-impact medical technology project focused on frontend, backend, and mobile platforms. You will be responsible for defining the testing vision and establishing high-fidelity automation frameworks for a complex SaaS architecture in a regulated healthcare environment. This role involves spearheading the transition from legacy testing tools to modern technologies while ensuring the reliability of life-critical software.
 

Requirements

• Professional Experience: 8+ years of expertise in software test automation and quality engineering.
• Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of modern tech stacks, including Vue (2 & 3), Python-based services, and multi-region architectures.
• Automation Expertise: Expert knowledge of Vitest and Playwright, with significant experience maintaining or migrating from Selenium.
• Regulated Industry Knowledge: Proven track record of delivering software within a regulated framework (e.g., medical devices or healthcare) is highly preferred.
• Performance Testing: Practical experience in load and stress testing to ensure platform stability.
• Communication & Mobility: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the flexibility to travel to Poland for on-site collaboration when required.
• English: advanced.
   

Job responsibilities

• Test Strategy & Leadership: Define and implement a comprehensive test strategy, encompassing regression coverage, CI gating, and overall quality standards for the engineering team.
• Framework Modernization: Lead the technical evolution of the testing suite, transitioning from legacy Selenium environments to modern frameworks such as Vitest and Playwright.
• Performance Engineering: Establish performance baselines and manage load testing initiatives utilizing tools like Grafana k6.
• Quality Governance: Set the quality bar for all production-touching changes, ensuring that all deliverables pass strict internal review gates.
• Business Travel: Undertake periodic business trips to Poland as needed to facilitate team coordination, stakeholder alignment, and project planning.
• Technical Mentorship: Provide guidance on code reviews and quality standards for the engineering bench to ensure a high level of execution.
