Client produces the best-selling iPad and iPhone app for pilots flying personal and business aircraft, corporate flight departments, and aircraft operators. Customers include individual pilots worldwide, Fortune 500 corporate flight departments, state and federal agencies, leading operators, the military, and leading aircraft OEMs. We have been in the App Store since its grand opening in July 2008 and are consistently ranked in the top 50 grossing iPad apps in the App Store.
The project focuses on the development and implementation of innovative resource management and optimization solutions for the worldβs leading airlines. Its mission is centered on continuous improvement, delivering increased value to customers, and exploring emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data analytics, and advanced optimization techniques.

Role Overview:
We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure platforms. You will play a key role in supporting cloud-native, containerized environments and enabling efficient CI/CD pipelines for mission-critical systems used by global airline customers.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and operate Kubernetes-based platforms for production workloads.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git-based workflows and modern automation tools.
- Develop automation and tooling using Python and Go.
- Manage artifact repositories and dependency flows using Artifactory.
- Support and optimize databases (SQL and/or NoSQL) in production environments.
- Implement infrastructure and platform observability, monitoring, and alerting.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and resilience of systems.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment reliability and developer experience.
- Enforce security, access control, and compliance best practices across environments.
- Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Contribute to platform architecture decisions and DevOps best practices.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments.
- Proficiency in Python and Go for automation and tooling.
- Solid experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and release automation.
- Experience working with artifact repositories such as Artifactory.
- Good understanding of databases (relational and/or NoSQL) from an operational perspective.
- Strong knowledge of Linux systems, networking, and cloud-native concepts.
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments.
Communicative English for collaboration in an international team.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Helm).
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability stacks.
- Knowledge of container security and Kubernetes security best practices.
