QA Engineer (Web/Mobile, Fintech)

About the project

We are looking for a QA Engineer to join a long-term fintech project for a UK-based client. The product includes both web and mobile applications in the finance and banking domain.

This is a fully remote opportunity with collaboration during UK business hours.

Requirements

• 2+ years of commercial QA experience
• Experience building and improving QA processes from scratch
• Hands-on experience testing web and mobile applications (iOS & Android)
• Experience with fintech, banking, or payment products
• Previous experience leading or mentoring QA engineers
• Strong understanding of test design techniques and defect management
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, TestRail / Testiny / Qase or similar tools
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, Charles, or Proxyman
• English level: Upper-Intermediate (B2) or higher with confident spoken and written communication

Nice to have

• Experience working with UK or EU clients
• Understanding of fintech compliance standards and regulations:
  • PCI DSS
  • PSD2
  • KYC / AML
  • GDPR

Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing for web and mobile applications
• Own and improve QA processes within the project
• Lead and mentor a small QA team
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and the client
• Report on product quality, testing progress, risks, and release readiness
