We are looking for an L&D Manager to join our Team. The purpose of this role is to establish a strategic and scalable Learning & Development function that strengthens GigaCloud’s ability to grow through its people. This role focuses on unlocking the potential of internal talent by creating clear development pathways, building leadership capabilities, and embedding a culture of learning across teams.

Key responsibilities:
 

  • Develop and implement a structured, strategic approach to talent development.
  • Launch performance-oriented training initiatives: 85% aligned with business goals, 15% focused on self-development and staying current with industry trends (e.g., conferences, meetups).
  • Support business transformation through innovative and adaptive learning solutions.
  • Design career paths and learning journeys, including role-based competency matrices and development roadmaps.
  • Implement and maintain Personal Development Plans (PDPs) and Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs), integrated into the overall performance review system.
  • Manage mandatory certifications and external learning programs, ensuring alignment with role requirements and compliance standards.
  • Design and coordinate training initiatives such as Development programs for the Sales team, managerial and leadership skills training, role onboarding for new hires and internal transitions
  • Build a company-wide knowledge-sharing ecosystem
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs. Analyse key metrics such as ROI, training KPIs, and business impact to continuously improve L&D initiatives.
  • Drive automation and digitalisation of training processes and learning platforms.
  • Design and facilitate soft skills development programs across teams.
     

Required Experience & Skills:
 

  • Proven knowledge of Instructional Design principles and practices.
  • Hands-on experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and learning analytics.
  • Strong background in career development planning, including implementation of PDPs and PIPs, and creating structured development roadmaps.
  • An analytical mindset with the ability to assess learning needs and measure the impact of training initiatives.
  • Passion for talent development and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts.
  • Experience in designing and delivering training programs and content for diverse employee groups.
  • English proficiency at Upper-Intermediate level or higher (written and verbal).
     

Nice to have skills:
 

  • Experience in building and managing L&D projects from scratch, including programs on hard skills, soft skills, mentoring, and management development.
  • Solid understanding of HR processes and how learning initiatives integrate with broader talent management strategies.
  • Background in facilitating soft skills training as a corporate trainer or internal coach.
