TL;DR
We're building AI workflow automation for B2B. Average pilot $15kโ$30k, expansion into monthly retainer.
We're opening one vertical first: marketing agencies (35โ200 people, US/EU). They have real pain around client reporting, content scale, RFP/proposal work, lead qualification โ and they have budget.
We're hiring a founding sales partner to build the outbound motion with us from zero.
WHAT WE SELL
Not "AI will help your business." Specific workflows:
- Automated monthly client reporting (GA4 / Meta Ads / LinkedIn / SEMrush โ branded report with insights)
- Proposal / RFP automation (old tenders in RAG โ drafts of new ones in 30 min instead of 2 days)
- AI lead qualification for agency inboxes (who's real, who's tire-kicking)
- Content scale (brief โ variants matched to client brand guidelines)
- Multi-account performance ops (repeating manual checks across client accounts)
Typical pilot: 3โ6 weeks, $15kโ$30k. After pilot โ expansion to monthly retainer ($3kโ$10k/mo) or a second workflow.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Outbound: cold email (Apollo Pro + Instantly Hypergrowth + Clay already in the stack), LinkedIn outreach, selective warm intros. CTO joins demos for technical questions; you own the relationship end-to-end.
- Discovery: 30-min call โ find where the agency is actually bleeding โ scope one workflow for a pilot. Not "sell what we have," but "find what they actually need."
- Closing: discovery โ scoped proposal with CTO in the room โ close โ handoff to delivery.
- GTM feedback loop: you bring back objections, pricing pushback, best-performing hooks โ we adjust the offer together. Two-person GTM iteration, not "run the script."
What you DON'T do: phone-based cold calling, conference travel, infinite CRM grooming, selling vapor features.
WHAT WE OFFER
- 10% of client Y1 revenue (pilot $25k โ $2,500 one-time; +retainer $5k/mo โ $500/mo ร 12)
- + 5% residual Y2+ (as long as the client stays)
- Realistic OTE Y1: $100kโ$150k. Y2 (if clients stick into retainer): $150kโ$220k+
- 4 weeks PTO
- Full sales stack already paid for (Apollo Pro, Instantly Hypergrowth, Clay, LinkedIn Sales Nav, Lemlist)
- Direct work with two founders, no middle management
- Equity conversation after 6 months, if both sides see long-term
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Must-have:
- 3+ years B2B sales with full ownership of the cycle (not SDR-only)
- $10k+ ASP experience, deal cycles 2โ12 weeks
- English: fluent in writing, confident on discovery / negotiation calls
- Sold into one of: marketing agencies, SaaS, B2B services, consulting, digital products
- Understands the difference between "closed a deal" and "closed a deal delivery can actually ship without crying"
Nice-to-have:
- AI, no-code or data automation in your portfolio
- Early sales hire at a 5โ25 person startup
- Existing network in agency / SaaS space
What we DON'T require: technical background (we'll bring you up to speed), specific degree, specific location.
