Configuration Engineer(exp with Atlassian products) Offline

Project Description:

IT Infra Services is a dedicated group within Automotive Practice Luxoft with three major responsibility areas:

- Software engineering process establishment and improvement

- Tools and technologies: researching, managing, maintaining, and supporting CASE tools including the Atlassian Suite (Confluence, JIRA, Crucible,Bitbucket, Crowd), and other tools as it is determined to support the software development processes in Automotive Practice Luxoft.

- Full spectre of support for internal clients

Responsibilities:

- Administer the Atlassian tooling instances on a day to day basis including performance tuning/scaling the instances.

- Create complex JIRA workflows including project workflows, screen schemes, permission scheme and notification schemes in JIRA.

- Administer Atlassian Fisheye/Crucible including adding new repositories, create new projects.

- Administer SeaFile (only UI).

- Communicate with the users to understand the requirements and implement them.

- Demonstrate ability to handle multiple, complex technical projects simultaneously.

- Lead and provide technical assistance during major Atlassian tooling upgrades.

- Possess knowledge to provide feedback and direction to teams requesting new features and process changes.

Mandatory Skills:

- Experience in performing Atlassian installations and migrations

- Ability to create complex JIRA workflows including project workflows, screen schemes, permission scheme and notification schemes in JIRA.

- Experience in using/extending REST Services provided by Atlassian.

- Experience in Tomcat Server Configuration/tuning and JVM performance tuning.

- Experience in UNIX administration and sql database administration.

- Experience with VCS tools Subversion, GIT, Perforce

- Experience as an application systems administrator

- Understand good Agile and other Software development life-cycle methods

- Strong analytical skills

- Superior creative and innovative problem-solving skills

- Initiative and the ability to work independently and in a team

- Broad knowledge and understanding of the software industry
