Rock&Apps is looking for an experienced Data Analyst πŸš€ 

Our products continue to scale, marketing channels are growing, and the amount of data we work with increases every month. We already have a solid data infrastructure in place, and now we’re looking for an analyst who can help turn data into actionable business decisions. You’ll work closely with marketing, product, finance, and engineering teams β€” helping us better understand acquisition performance, subscription economics, retention, and growth opportunities across multiple apps and traffic sources.

What you’ll do

- Ad-hoc analytics for marketing, finance, and product teams 

- Analyze the full funnel: click β†’ install β†’ trial β†’ subscription 

- Work with metrics such as ROAS, CAC, retention, LTV, payback, and unit economics 

- Build and maintain analytical data marts in dbt (gold layer) 

- Develop and support dashboards and recurring reports in BI tools 

- Perform cohort and subscription analytics across apps, geos, affiliates, and acquisition channels 

- Investigate data discrepancies between internal data and external platforms (AppsFlyer, Stripe, Adapty, etc.) 

- Support product and marketing experiments, including A/B tests and funnel analysis 

- Translate business questions into analytical tasks and present insights to stakeholders 

- Contribute to the development of analytics standards, metrics, and data quality processes

 

What we’re looking for

- Strong SQL skills: window functions, CTEs, query optimization, execution plans 

- Hands-on experience with analytical DWHs such as BigQuery or ClickHouse 

- Practical experience with dbt: models, tests, incremental strategies, sources 

- Understanding of medallion architecture (bronze / silver / gold) 

- Strong knowledge of performance marketing analytics and subscription metrics 

- Experience with cohort analysis, retention curves, LTV, and payback calculations 

- Experience building dashboards in BI tools (Looker, Metabase, Tableau, Power BI, etc.) 

- Confident Git workflow usage (feature branches, PR reviews) 

- Ability to independently investigate problems and validate data quality 

- Strong communication skills and ability to explain insights clearly 

- 2+ years of experience in product or marketing analytics 

- English β€” reading documentation and technical materials comfortably

 

Extra points if you have

- Experience with Stripe, RevenueCat, Adapty, AppsFlyer, Adjust, Binom, Keitaro, or Voluum 

- Experience working with subscription-based products (mobile apps / SaaS / web subscriptions) 

- Knowledge of attribution models and traffic source reconciliation 

- BigQuery optimization experience (partitioning, clustering, cost optimization) 

- Experience with A/B testing design and statistical analysis 

- Understanding of subscription lifecycle analytics (renewals, refunds, recovery flows)
