Fullstack Developer (Backend-focused) — Java / AWS / React

We are looking for an experienced Senior Fullstack Developer (Backend-focused) to join a long-term project in partnership with a global consulting company.
 

You will work on digital products for a Belgium-based telecommunications company, supporting major media and entertainment platforms across Belgium and the Netherlands.
 

💻 What you’ll do

• Develop and maintain backend APIs
• Support and improve existing backend and frontend applications
• Fix bugs and ensure system stability
• Identify opportunities for product and technical improvements
• Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and product teams

✅ Requirements

Backend & Architecture

• 3+ years with microservices architecture
• Strong experience with Java 21+
• Solid knowledge of Spring Boot / Spring Framework

Cloud & Infrastructure

• 5+ years with AWS (ECS, SQS, SNS, API Gateway, CloudWatch, etc.)

Databases

• MongoDB (CRUD, 3+ years)
• SQL (PostgreSQL or SQL Server)

Frontend

• 1+ year with React / JavaScript

General

• REST APIs, HTTP, JSON
• Agile (Scrum / Kanban)

• English — Upper-Intermediate+

• Advanced Spring (AOP, OpenFeign)
• AWS Lambda, DynamoDB
• Data tools (Snowflake, DBT, Airflow)
• Quarkus, Thymeleaf
• Experience with GDPR or marketing platforms
