Odoo 17 Developer

We are looking for an Odoo 17 Developer to join a long-term project with a US-based client operating in the Animal Reproduction industry.

The project focuses on building and customizing ERP solutions for breeding management, animal tracking, inventory, operations, and internal business processes. The role involves active development of custom Odoo modules, integrations, and optimization of existing workflows.

Responsibilities

• Develop and customize Odoo 17 modules
• Build and maintain business logic using Python
• Customize Odoo views, models, workflows, and reports
• Work with PostgreSQL databases
• Create integrations with third-party systems and APIs
• Collaborate directly with the US client and internal team
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain existing functionality
• Participate in architecture and technical discussions
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code

Requirements

• Strong experience with Odoo development (preferably Odoo 16/17)
• Solid knowledge of Python
• Experience with PostgreSQL
• Understanding of Odoo ORM, XML, QWeb, and module architecture
• Experience with custom module development
• Familiarity with Git and development best practices
• English level sufficient for communication with US-based stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and proactively

Nice to Have

• Experience with ERP/CRM systems
• Experience in logistics, agriculture, livestock, or manufacturing domains
• Knowledge of Docker and cloud deployments
• Experience with API integrations
