Senior Full Stack Engineer (TypeScript, Next.js, NestJS)

We are hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer for an Israeli deep tech company building a large-scale real-time infrastructure monitoring platform.

The company develops advanced technology that transforms existing fiber optic networks into real-time sensor systems capable of monitoring critical infrastructure such as power grids, pipelines, railways, secured facilities, and perimeter assets across thousands of kilometers.

The platform combines distributed sensing technology, machine learning, and cloud-native infrastructure to detect anomalies, threats, and operational events in real time.

This is not a typical CRUD SaaS product.

The system processes continuous streams of sensor and telemetry data and delivers operational intelligence through complex dashboards, live alerts, monitoring workflows, and map-based interfaces used daily by enterprise customers and field operators.

The stack includes:

* Next.js

The frontend is a critical part of the platform and includes:

* real-time operational dashboards

* map-based monitoring interfaces

* alerting systems

* large-scale data visualization

* complex state-heavy workflows

We are looking for a strong engineer who can independently own complex features end-to-end, from architecture and backend implementation to frontend delivery and production deployment.

Responsibilities

* Design and build complex full stack features end-to-end

* Develop scalable frontend applications using Next.js and React

* Build backend services and APIs using Node.js, TypeScript, and NestJS

* Work on real-time dashboards, operational workflows, and map-based interfaces

* Participate in architecture and technical decision-making

* Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams

* Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability

* Take ownership of features from concept to production

* Use AI-powered engineering tools to accelerate development and improve code quality

Requirements

* 7+ years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer

* Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript across frontend and backend

* Strong experience with Next.js and modern React ecosystem

* Solid backend development experience with Node.js and NestJS

* Experience building complex production systems, not only simple CRUD applications

* Experience working with map-based interfaces or geospatial visualization

* Experience with AWS production environments

* Experience with Docker and cloud-native infrastructure

* Experience with Cypress or similar testing frameworks

* Strong understanding of architecture, scalability, and system design

* Strong ownership mindset and ability to independently drive features

* English level B2 or higher
