Data Engineer / Data Warehouse Engineer (Snowflake Migration Project)

We are looking for experienced Data Engineer / Data Warehouse Engineer to join a large-scale enterprise migration project.

You’ll help migrate terabytes of data from Vertica to Snowflake, redesign critical data pipelines, and build scalable data processing solutions for a high-impact business environment.

What you’ll do

• Migrate large-scale datasets from Vertica to Snowflake
• Redesign and rebuild ETL / ELT pipelines
• Optimize data loading and transformation workflows
• Ensure scalable, high-performance data processing
• Use tools such as SnowConvert (or similar) where relevant
• Contribute to architectural decisions and support less experienced engineers when needed

What we’re looking for

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering / data warehouse migrations
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake (must-have)
• Expert-level SQL
• Solid experience with ETL / ELT pipelines (dbt, Airflow, Spark, or similar)
• Strong understanding of relational databases and transformation logic
• Experience with Vertica is a plus
• Experience with SnowConvert or similar migration tools is a plus
• Ability to mentor others and work independently in a fast-moving environment

Project details

• Start: June / July 2026
• Duration: 3 months + possible 3-month extension
• Team size: 4–5 engineers
• Candidates can join individually or as part of a team
