NetSuite Technical Project Manager
We are seeking a NetSuite Technical Project Manager to own the delivery, coordination, and ongoing improvement of NetSuite-based initiatives across the organization. This role serves as the primary bridge between business stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams—ensuring clear requirements, smooth execution, and successful outcomes across financial, operational, and integration-driven projects.
The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, highly detail-oriented, and comfortable navigating both technical and non-technical conversations. They bring strong NetSuite functional expertise, understand end-to-end financial workflows, and can confidently manage multiple concurrent initiatives across multiple ecommerce websites in the brand portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
• Own end-to-end project delivery for NetSuite-related initiatives, from discovery and requirements through testing, launch, and post-implementation support.
• Partner closely with internal stakeholders to define requirements, user stories, success criteria, and “victory conditions” before development begins.
• Act as the primary point of contact between business teams and external vendors or developers, translating business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements.
• Configure and manage NetSuite functionality where appropriate, including workflows, saved searches, reports, imports, and non-development administration tasks.
• Understand and support core financial and operational workflows, including sales orders, purchase orders, fulfillment, and invoicing.
• Manage tickets, documentation, and delivery tracking using tools such as Jira and Microsoft Teams.
• Support multiple initiatives in parallel and switch context quickly between projects while maintaining clarity and momentum.
• Lead stakeholder conversations during periods of frustration or system complexity, helping teams work through issues productively and calmly.
• Over time, take on team leadership responsibilities, including managing vendor resources and building out a supporting team as the function scales.
Required Qualifications
• Strong experience in NetSuite administration and project delivery, with hands-on familiarity configuring reports, saved searches, workflows, and data imports.
• Deep understanding of NetSuite financial processes and end-to-end system flow (order to cash, procure to pay, etc.).
• Proven ability to gather, document, and validate clear requirements before development and QA phases.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across a wide range of stakeholders and communication styles.
• Strong project management skills with attention to detail, accountability, and ownership of outcomes.
• Comfort working across US business hours.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, especially for data analysis, imports, and operational reporting.
• Applies strong NetSuite architectural knowledge and problem-solving skills to assess technical proposals and estimates, partnering with developers to course-correct approaches that may not align with scope, feasibility, or best practices.
Nice-to-Have Experience
• Prior background as a developer or strong technical foundation (not required to write complex scripts).
• Experience with Shopify, particularly with NetSuite connectors and EDI integrations.
• Familiarity with .NET-based systems and understanding of middleware, like tray.io
•Experience leading or mentoring a technical or vendor-based team.
