WordPress / HivePress Developer (Startup, Revenue Share, Future CTO)

We are building Yabica - a rental marketplace for motorbikes, cars, and boats in Southeast Asia, starting from Bali.
 

Think Airbnb / Turo for vehicles, but adapted for local markets where the rental industry is highly fragmented and offline.

The MVP is already live (WordPress + HivePress / RentalHive), and our mobile app is nearly ready. We are now entering the final stage before launch, where we need a strong developer to bring the platform to production quality.
 

🚀 What we need
 

We are looking for a hands-on WordPress developer who can:

• Fix existing bugs and edge cases on the website
• Customize and extend HivePress (RentalHive theme)
• Develop custom functionality and plugins
• Work on payment & payout logic (Stripe, manual payouts, local solutions for Bali hosts)
• Improve performance, UX, and reliability
• Help structure the system for future scaling

• WooCommerce
• Stripe
• Some custom PHP / JS
• Firebase + FlutterFlow (mobile app side is a plus)

💡 About the role
 

This is not a typical “task-based freelancer” role.

We are looking for someone who:

• Can take ownership of the technical side
• Thinks in systems, not just tickets
• Can suggest better solutions instead of just executing

If things go well, this can naturally evolve into a Lead Developer / CTO role.

💰 Compensation
 

We are an early-stage startup, so the structure is:

• Revenue share: 5–10% (from platform income once we launch)
• Initial bonus: $250–$500 from CEO
• Long-term upside based on growth of the platform

This is ideal for someone who:

• Wants to be part of a real product
• Become the foundation of the company

• Is okay trading fixed salary for equity-like rewards

🌍 Location
 

We believe in a free-world culture, and are open to remote collaboration. The most important is the results, not the location.
Plus, when we successfully launch, we might offer a relocation to Bali.
