About the Job
In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the development of a universal unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) platform designed to perform a wide range of missions, leveraging real-world operational experience and a modern technology stack.
The new platform is intended to address the most critical demands of the modern battlefield, ensuring effective operation under high-intensity usage, constrained logistics, and continuous adaptation to evolving mission scenarios.
This role implies full ownership of the product โ from requirements definition to scaling in production โ taking into account the specifics of UGV system development, operation, and support.
What is your Day-to-Day Mission
- Own the end-to-end product development lifecycle of a next-generation UGV platform under tight deadlines and high operational demands.
- Gather, validate, and structure capability requirements through direct interaction with military users and other operational stakeholders.
- Define, prioritize, and continuously refine the product backlog based on real-world use cases and field feedback.
- Ensure the right balance between innovation, reliability, and scalability for production.
- Work closely with engineering teams to translate product requirements into technical solutions.
- Integrate maintainability, modularity, and field serviceability considerations from the earliest stages of development.
- Align efforts across R&D, production, supply chain, and service/support functions.
- Participate in product testing, analyze results, and drive rapid feedback loops into development.
- Define and track key product metrics (performance, reliability, lifecycle, total cost of ownership).
What you bring to the team
- Proven hands-on experience in the development of UGVs or other ground robotic systems in a Product Manager or closely related product role.
- Strongtrack record of end-to-end ownership of hardware products โ from vision and requirements definition to production launch and operational deployment.
- Deep understanding of UGV-specific challenges: mobility, terrain adaptability, power systems, reliability under harsh conditions, and environmental constraints.
- Practical experience working with manufacturing: DFM/DFA, scaling, quality control, and managing trade-offs between cost, performance, and reliability.
- Solid understanding of service, repair, and field support models, with the ability to incorporate these considerations into product design from early stages.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams (mechanical, electronics, software) and the ability to prioritize effectively under uncertainty.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including direct interaction with end-users in operational or near-operational environments.
- Ability to make decisions under time pressure, incomplete data, and rapidly changing requirements.
- Fluent English (both written and spoken).
