Strong Middle Project Manager / Business Analyst

We seek a Strong Middle PM/BA to join our team on a humanitarian transparency platform. This is a hybrid role combining project coordination with business analysis — the person will own both delivery management and requirements work within a cross-functional tech team.

• Manage project delivery: planning, sprint coordination, tracking progress, and removing blockers.
• Gather, structure, and document functional and non-functional requirements.
• Facilitate workshops and interviews with stakeholders to capture needs and validate solutions.
• Translate business requirements into clear specifications for the development team.
• Maintain and prioritize the backlog; coordinate with engineers on scope and estimates.
• Track risks, dependencies, and decisions; keep the team aligned.
• Prepare reports and status updates for internal and client stakeholders.
• Document your work and support knowledge sharing within the team.

👌 Role Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a PM, BA, or combined PM/BA role on software projects.
• Strong skills in requirements gathering, documentation, and backlog management.
• Experience facilitating stakeholder workshops and translating outcomes into specs.
• Proficiency with project tracking tools (e.g. Jira, Linear, or similar).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery methodology.
• Ability to work effectively with technical teams without deep technical background.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
   

⭐ Nice to Have:

• Experience on projects involving data platforms, reporting, or dashboards.
• Familiarity with NGO, humanitarian, or grant-funded project environments.
• Experience writing technical documentation or API specs alongside developers.
• Knowledge of UX/UI principles for requirements validation.
