Azure Data Engineer

We are looking for an Azure Data Engineer to design, build, and operate data integration pipelines on Microsoft Azure. You will focus on moving, transforming, and preparing data from multiple systems to support analytics, reporting, and business processes.

This role involves daily hands-on development and active participation in delivery projects.

What You Will Do

• Build and maintain data integration pipelines using Azure services 
• Implement data ingestion and transformation workflows from multiple data sources 
• Integrate data from databases, APIs, and file-based systems 
• Schedule and monitor data workflows to ensure reliable data delivery 
• Troubleshoot and improve performance and stability of data pipelines 
• Collaborate with architects and engineers on data platform solutions 

Required Technical Skills

Azure Data Engineering

• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory 
• Experience with Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) 
• Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics or Microsoft Fabric 
• Strong knowledge of SQL and T-SQL 
• Experience building and maintaining ETL / ELT pipelines 
• Experience implementing data transformations using SQL or Azure Data Factory Data Flows 
• Understanding of data warehouse or modern data platform concepts 
• Experience with data modelling 

Integration and Development

• Experience integrating data from relational databases, APIs, and file-based systems 
• Experience working with structured and semi-structured data 
• Experience working with data formats such as Parquet, JSON, and CSV
• Experience monitoring and troubleshooting data pipelines in production environments 
• Experience working with version control systems such as Git 
• Experience deploying data pipelines using CI/CD processes 
• Experience working with Azure security concepts such as Key Vault, Managed Identity

Nice to Have

• Experience with Power BI or other reporting tools
