We're looking for an experienced SEO specialist to take ownership of technical and on-page SEO for a B2B digital transformation and software development firm. This is a hands-on role โ€” we need someone who can audit, prioritize, execute, and report with minimal hand-holding. This is a part-time contractual involvement of approximately 10 hrs/week for 3-6 months.

WHAT YOU'LL BE WORKING ON

  • Full technical SEO audit triage and remediation (broken links, crawl issues, Core Web Vitals, sitemap/robots.txt, redirect chains, etc.)
  • On-page optimization โ€” title tags, meta descriptions, H1/H2 structure, internal linking
  • Content gap analysis and keyword strategy for service pages and blog
  • Ongoing monthly reporting with clear KPIs and progress tracking
  • Schema markup, structured data, and authority-building recommendations

 

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Proven experience with Semrush โ€” you know it deeply, not just surface level
  • Prior work with IT services, software development, consulting, or B2B professional services firms โ€” this matters, generic ecommerce SEO experience is not enough
  • Ability to build and present a clear SEO roadmap with phased priorities, timelines, and expected outcomes
  • Clear communication โ€” you explain what you're doing and why, not just what the tool says
  • Experience working independently without needing an internal SEO team to lean on

 

TO BE CONSIDERED, YOUR PROPOSAL MUST INCLUDE

  • 2โ€“3 case studies from past clients, specifically in IT services, software, consulting, or similar B2B spaces โ€” include before/after metrics where possible
  • A short Loom (or equivalent) screen recording walking us through a real audit or campaign you ran โ€” show us how you work, what you looked at, what decisions you made
  • A brief roadmap outline of how you'd approach an engagement like this โ€” tools you'd use, sequencing, how you'd prioritize issues, and how you'd measure success Proposals without a video and case studies will not be reviewed.
