Senior QA Engineer (Playwright, JavaScript/TypeScript) for Workforce Analytics Platform for Industrial Operations
We are looking for a highly technical Senior QA Engineer to join a fast-paced product team building specialized workforce management software for large-scale industrial operations.
The system is a hardware-integrated SaaS platform that processes real-time field data and delivers actionable insights through dynamic dashboards and mobile interfaces.
The platformβs core includes IoT data ingestion, workforce tracking, and advanced scheduling logic, with a strong focus on real-time analytics.
This role focuses on automating complex user interfaces involving high-frequency data updates and large datasets.
This is an Individual Contributor role with high ownership over the testing strategy and automation framework.
This is not a manual QA-only role. The position requires deep expertise in Playwright, strong programming skills, and the ability to work with complex, dynamic UI systems.
Strong Playwright expertise is the primary screening signal and will be validated during the technical interview.

The platform replaces manual time tracking with AI-powered biometric verification. It helps contractors capture accurate work hours, reduce payroll errors, track crews and cost codes in real time, and sync labor data into systems such as Procore, CMiC, Vista, and Power BI.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a robust automation framework from scratch
- Automate complex UI with dynamic content and frequent updates
- Identify and document edge-case scenarios in highly dynamic UI components
- Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure the testability of new features
- Perform root-cause analysis of flaky tests
- Monitor and improve test execution time within CI/CD pipelines
- Conduct manual testing where automation is not yet feasible
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance
- Expert-level proficiency with Playwright (JS/TS) (core requirement)
- Strong programming skills in JavaScript and TypeScript
- Proven experience testing dynamic content and complex/virtualized lists
- Deep understanding of DOM manipulation and asynchronous event handling
- Experience with CI/CD integration for automated test suites
- Proficiency in Chrome DevTools for debugging and performance profiling
- Proactive attitude toward identifying architectural bottlenecks
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Strong documentation skills for bug reporting and test planning
