Java Tech / Team Lead

We are looking for a strong Java Tech / Team Lead who combines hands-on development with technical leadership for a team of 4–5 engineers. This is a true 70% hands-on / 30% leadership role.

The company is building a modern platform that processes real-time market data and helps users make trading decisions based on deep analytics and market insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop backend architecture and APIs
• Work with payments, subscriptions, and external integrations
• Ensure platform stability and continuous improvements
• Participate in system migrations and platform evolution
• Mentor and support a small engineering team
• Collaborate closely with the CTO and Product team

Requirements:

• 8+ years of backend development experience (Java + Spring)
• 2+ years in a Tech Lead / Team Lead role
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL and REST APIs
• Experience with CI/CD and Docker
• Strong understanding of complex distributed systems and integrations
• English level B2+

Nice to have:

• Experience with Stripe / payments / subscription systems
• Knowledge of OAuth2 / Keycloak
• Experience with legacy systems or migration projects
• Interest in fintech or trading domains
