About the Role
We are looking for a Product Operations Manager to take ownership of our credit product line (Active Funds, XL, Boost).
In this role, you will be the "engine" of the product, balancing portfolio growth with rigorous risk control. You will manage credit limits, oversee scoring models, ensure healthy cash flow, and act as a strategic bridge between our partners, Finance, and IT teams.
Mission
To maintain credit portfolio stability, minimize default risks, and ensure seamless partner service to drive the product's financial health and scalability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Limit Management (Core): Perform regular reviews of partner credit limits. Make data-driven decisions on increasing, decreasing, or freezing limits based on risk assessment.
- Scoring & Risk Management: Execute monthly scoring and quarterly portfolio reviews. Initiate improvements to scoring models and oversee their implementation by the IT team.
- Collections & Recovery: Monitor overdue receivables, communicate with partners regarding repayments, and prepare formal reminders or legal claims.
- Financial Operations: Reconcile payments (amounts, dates, and balances), coordinate manual refund processes, and resolve any financial discrepancies.
- Reporting & Analytics: Define requirements for IT analysts, ensure data quality, and prepare regular reports on portfolio health, default rates, and profitability.
Candidate Requirements:
Hard Skills & Tools:
- FinTech / IT Experience: A background in digital financial products or a fast-paced IT environment (preferably 2+ years).
- Risk Expertise: Proven experience in credit risk management, scoring, and financial analysis of clients/partners.
- Advanced Excel: Mastery of large data sets, Pivot Tables, and complex formulas (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH) is a must, as this is your primary tool for daily analytics.
- Collections Skills: Experience in managing accounts receivable and understanding recovery processes.
- English Proficiency: B1 level or higher, with the ability to conduct professional business correspondence with international partners.
Soft Skills & Competencies:
- Negotiation Skills: Ability to communicate constructively in difficult situations (e.g., limit reductions or debt collection).
- Technical Mindset: Ability to translate business needs into clear technical specifications (BRD/TS) for developers and analysts.
- Precision & Systems Thinking: Absolute accuracy with numbers and the ability to manage multiple operational workflows simultaneously.
- Owner Mindset: A proactive approach with the readiness to take responsibility for decisions that directly impact the company's bottom line.
Would be a plus:
- Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI) for risk metric visualization.
