Client produces the best-selling iPad and iPhone app for pilots flying personal and business aircraft, corporate flight departments, and aircraft operators. Customers include individual pilots worldwide, Fortune 500 corporate flight departments, state and federal agencies, leading operators, the military, and leading aircraft OEMs. We have been in the App Store since its grand opening in July 2008 and are consistently ranked in the top 50 grossing iPad apps in the App Store.

 

Requirements

 

We are looking for a Product-oriented professional with strong domain expertise (aviation) who can help us not only deliver projects but also build and scale domain knowledge within the organization.

This role combines product thinking, business analysis, and domain expertise. The person will play a key role in transforming fragmented knowledge into structured, reusable expertise and offerings.

 

Key Responsibilities:

– Act as a domain expert, supporting ongoing projects with deep industry knowledge
– Translate complex domain processes into structured product and system understanding
– Collaborate with stakeholders to capture and formalize requirements
– Break down business problems into clear product increments and backlog items
– Build and maintain internal domain knowledge frameworks, artifacts, and best practices
– Support engineering teams in understanding domain-specific logic and constraints
– Identify opportunities to standardize and reuse knowledge across projects
– Contribute to shaping repeatable offerings and solutions for future clients
– Drive product discovery and problem framing, not just delivery execution

 

Job responsibilities

 

Must-have:

 

Strong experience in at least one Aviation domain (flight ops, navigation, crew, etc.)

 

– Experience as: Product Manager / Product Owner or Senior Business Analyst. Proven ability to structure complex domains into clear models, processes, and artifacts.

– Experience working with complex systems and cross-functional teams

 

– Strong skills in:

        – Requirements engineering
        – Process modeling
        – Backlog structuring
        – Ability to move to structured knowledge and actionable delivery
        – Strong communication skills across business and engineering

 

Nice-to-have:

Experience building:

 β€“ knowledge bases
 β€“ reusable frameworks
 β€“ Understanding of how to productize services or expertise
 β€“ Technical background or strong system thinking
