Product Designer (UI/UX) — Build the future of service businesses -PT-

We're building Bookme — an Amsterdam based startup building a SaaS platform that helps independent professionals and small businesses run their entire booking flow effortlessly. Think scheduling, payments, client management — all in one clean experience. Personal trainers, coaches, nutritionists, wellness studios: in under 5 minutes they go from sign-up to a live booking widget on their site.

We're looking for a (full/part-time) Product Designer who doesn't just "make things pretty", but owns the full design process — from idea to shipped feature.

You don't wait — you drive.

How you'll work

You'll work closely with:

• Our current designer — to align on quality, consistency, and design direction
• Product & engineering — to ship fast and iterate

This is not a siloed role — it's collaborative, but with clear ownership per feature. You'll touch the booking widget, the dashboard, the landing site, and our design system repos.

What we're looking for

• You are highly independent and proactive
• You think in flows and systems, not just screens
• You move fast in low/mid fidelity, and are sharp in high fidelity
• You ask the right questions early
• You're comfortable working from ambiguity to clarity

Tools & mindset

This is the part we mean: we want someone who lives at the front of the design tooling wave, not someone catching up.

• Strong in Figma — components, design systems, prototyping, variables, auto-layout — second nature
• You've experimented with the Claude Design beta — actually used it on real work, formed an opinion, know where it shines and where it doesn't
• You actively use Claude, Notion, and similar modern tooling in your daily workflow
• You're not just aware of these tools — you experiment with them and integrate them into how you design
• You look for ways to design faster and smarter — not just harder

You:

• Break down the problem into user flows and key decisions
• Spot edge cases, friction, and gaps early
• Come back with strong, focused questions
• Explore solutions using modern tools (AI, rapid prototyping, etc.)
• Translate ideas into wireframes and mid-fi quickly
• Iterate with the team

• Deliver high-quality hi-fi designs with a strong, consistent look & feel

   

Bonus if you

• Have used v0 by Vercel (or comparable tools like Lovable, Bolt, or Cursor) to go from idea to working interface in minutes
• Have experience in SaaS or product-led environments
• Understand onboarding, conversion, and retention
• Have worked closely with developers (and can read a bit of React/Tailwind)
• Have shipped or contributed to a real design system
