Senior Cloud Architect

We are looking for a Senior Cloud Architect with strong Azure and cloud-native infrastructure experience to support the evolution of a modern SaaS platform.

The role combines architecture, platform design, security-aware infrastructure, Kubernetes, automation, and modernization of existing systems. You will help define and improve cloud infrastructure patterns used by multiple engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable and secure cloud-native infrastructure.
• Define architecture patterns for Azure-based environments.
• Work closely with platform engineering, DevOps, SRE, and product engineering teams.
• Support Kubernetes-based architecture and platform modernization.
• Improve infrastructure reliability, security, automation, and scalability.
• Help standardize cloud architecture practices across engineering teams.
• Review and improve existing infrastructure, including legacy systems.
• Support technical decision-making around cloud services, networking, security, and deployment models.
• Provide guidance to senior engineers and engineering teams.

Requirements

• Experience with Azure cloud architecture.
• Experience with AKS / Azure Kubernetes Service or Kubernetes in production.
• Understanding of cloud-native infrastructure design.
• Experience with security-aware infrastructure and best practices.
• Experience with infrastructure as code, such as Terraform, Bicep, Pulumi, or similar.
• Understanding of CI/CD, GitOps, and modern delivery practices.
• Experience designing systems for reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
• Ability to work with international distributed teams.
• Strong English communication skills.

• Experience with ArgoCD or other GitOps tools.
• Experience with OpenTelemetry or modern observability stacks.
• Experience in B2B SaaS environments.
• Experience supporting large-scale R&D organizations.
• Background in platform engineering or SRE.
• Experience with cloud cost optimization and governance.
