Middle+/Senior Data Engineer
We’re building a healthtech platform focused on preventive care, helping detect early signs of patient deterioration and reduce hospitalizations.
The product shifts healthcare from a reactive model → to a proactive one, using continuous data collection, analysis, and insights to intervene before issues escalate.
This is a data-heavy, impact-driven project where your work directly influences real-world outcomes.
We’re looking for a Middle+/Senior Data Engineer to support our team during a critical phase of data consolidation and platform evolution.
This is a hands-on, part-time role with a strong focus on analytics, data structuring, and decision support.
Responsibilities
- Audit and catalog existing data assets across Cloud SQL, BigQuery, and external platforms
- Structure and develop BI reporting (Metabase or similar)for:
- Leadership
- Clinical operations
- External partners
- Support data modeling & schema design during platform migration
- Collaborate on creating a data dictionary and documentation
- Ensure data consistency and reconciliation across systems
Requirements
- Strong SQL skills (complex joins, window functions, data reconciliation)
- Hands-on experience with Metabase or similar BI tools (Looker, Mode, Redash)
- Experience with PostgreSQL and/or BigQuery
- Solid background in data modeling and schema design
- Comfortable working in mid-migration environments (messy data, multiple sources)
- Experience with AWS and/or GCP
Nice to Have
- Experience in healthtech / healthcare data
- Experience working with product teams in early-stage environments
- Strong analytical mindset and ability to translate data into insights
