Manual QA

We’re looking for a QA Engineer who will help ensure the delivery of stable and high-quality software solutions for the legal sector. Our product combines AI and modern web technologies to simplify the creation and management of patent applications and legal processes.

This position mainly involves manual testing of web applications and backend services, with the opportunity to gradually move into automation in the future (including the use of AI-assisted tools).

You’ll be part of a fully remote, cross-functional team and will receive guidance and mentorship from an experienced QA specialist.

Your Responsibilities

• Assist in manual testing for both new features and existing functionality
• Test web interfaces and backend APIs manually
• Work with workflows and document-related features within a LegalTech product
• Perform exploratory and regression testing
• Prepare and maintain test documentation (test cases, test plans)
• Collaborate closely with developers and product managers in an Agile setup
• Use browser developer tools to identify issues and verify functionality
• Check client-server communication and HTTP methods

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in software testing, preferably in B2B or enterprise products
• Hands-on experience with API testing
• Strong knowledge of manual testing practices (test design, documentation)
• Understanding of how client-server architecture and HTTP methods work
• Confident use of browser developer tools
• Experience testing both web applications and backend services
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
• Good command of English
• Strong communication skills, proactive attitude, and willingness to learn
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Interest in growing toward test automation (automation skills are a plus, not mandatory)

Nice to Have

• Basic understanding of JavaScript or TypeScript
• Interest or initial experience in test automation
• Familiarity with AI-based tools for testing or scripting
