Financial Accountant

Requirements:

• Strong practical background in accounting + solid IFRS knowledge;
• 2+ years in international companies or cross-border (foreign jurisdiction) environments;
• Good understanding of tax systems, compliance, and reporting;
• Deep knowledge of Ukrainian Accounting Standards (UAS) and Tax Code of Ukraine;
• Experience improving accounting workflows, shortening closing cycles, and driving automation;
• Experience building management reporting from scratch or improving existing systems;
• Confident Excel / Google Sheets user;
• English at least B1 (written + spoken).

Nice to have:

• Exposure to EU / US / LATAM tax systems (VAT, Sales Tax, Income Tax);

• Experience handling and validating primary documents for non-resident entities.

   

Responsibilities:

• Organize and maintain financial data across multiple jurisdictions;
• Run payroll calculations and processing;
• Prepare and submit USC and PIT reporting;
• Ensure accuracy of accounting entries and financial records;
• Support external accountants and tax reporting processes;
• Participate in annual audits and prepare required audit documentation;
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
