Requirements

— 5+ years of experience in public relations, communications;
— Excellent writing, editing, and communications skills in Ukrainian and English;
— Experience developing and executing communications strategies across multiple markets or audiences;
— Strong understanding of media relations, reputation management, and strategic storytelling;
— Deep understanding of the Ukrainian media landscape and its specific dynamics;
— Ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams in a complex, fast-paced organizational environment;
— Strong cross-cultural communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and partners across different countries and cultural contexts;
— Results-oriented mindset with the ability to measure impact and continuously improve communication performance;
— Ability to think strategically and translate the strategy into concrete actions and measurable results;
— Proven ability to work independently, take ownership of projects, and drive initiatives from strategy to execution with minimal supervision;
— Background working in fast-paced industries such as technology, fintech, crypto would be an advantage;
— Experience working in international or multi-market environments would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

— Develop and lead the execution of PR strategy for WhiteBIT’s brand and reputation in Ukraine;
— Prepare and distribute communications materials including press releases, media statements, talking points, presentations, and executive briefings;
— Monitor media coverage, industry trends, and competitor activity to inform proactive communications planning and response strategies;
— Plan, manage, and oversee PR campaigns from concept through execution, measuring impact and optimizing performance;
— Build and nurture relationships with Ukrainian media and external partners to maximize coverage and reach;
— Identify and prepare spokespeople in Ukraine, including executives and product leads, on key messages and public appearances;
— Support crisis communications efforts, ensuring timely, accurate, and effective messaging in sensitive situations;
— Collaborate with internal stakeholders across marketing, product, legal, and leadership to align communications initiatives with business objectives;
— Oversee alignment of communications across other key markets with global PR and brand guidelines, maintaining consistency while allowing for local market adaptation;
— Advise executives and internal teams on communications strategies, media engagement, and key messaging to ensure consistent, impactful storytelling;
— Manage external PR agencies or consultants where applicable, providing clear briefs, guidance, and measurable outcomes;
— Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned to support WhiteBIT’s overall communications goals.
