Senior ETL / BI Big Data Developer (offline)

Responsibilities:
The Senior ETL / BI Developer is an integral member of the project team responsible for delivering development tasks of varying size and complexity.
He/she is responsible for being a part of development team under the direction of the Team leader & Project Management.

Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence and Reporting, with at least 3 years with similar role.
- Strong experience on at least 2-3 different technology stacks in each of the ETL, DW, Reporting & Big Data space.
- Strong in Production support.
- Strong Experience with PL/SQL Development.
- Experience with Microstrategy and Datastage is advantage.
- Experience with Big data & Hbase HDFS & Complex event processing (CEP) is advantage.
- Experience with Apache Nifi, Phonenix, Hive & Spark is advantage Development, Review & Operational tasks.
- Working through all stages of software delivery lifecycle from requirements refinement, development, testing, release & maintenance.
- Be highly organised, able to prioritise workload effectively with attention to detail.
- Be proactive, motivated and able to work on own initiative.
- Review codes developed by other team members.
- Monitoring & controlling daily DWH operational jobs.
- Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to the PM and project team.
- Communicate with operation and support team in case of any circumstances.

Desirable:
- Excellent information management skills (architecture, design, development and support) in ETL, Database, EDW, Reporting & Big Data.
- Excellent communication, client engagement and client management skills is preferred.
