IT Procurement Specialist (Software / Licensing)

About the role
We are looking for an IT Procurement Specialist responsible for the full lifecycle procurement of software, licenses and related IT services. This role has a strong impact on cost optimization, compliance and the efficient use of IT resources.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full software procurement lifecycle: from gathering requirements to contract signing.  
• Handle licensing models and agreements (SaaS, on‑premise, enterprise agreements).  
• Negotiate with vendors (Microsoft, Atlassian, Adobe, etc.) and manage vendor relationships.  
• Optimize software costs through license optimization and cost‑saving initiatives.  
• Monitor license usage and prevent over‑ or under‑licensing; support audits and ensure license compliance.  
• Collaborate with IT, Finance and Legal teams on procurement, contracts and compliance matters.  
• Maintain procurement documentation, contracts and regular reporting.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in IT or software procurement.  
• Solid understanding of licensing models (subscription, perpetual, volume licensing).  
• Experience working with major vendors (e.g., Microsoft, Oracle, SAP).  
• Strong negotiation skills and contract management experience.  
• Experience in cost optimization or participation in software audits is a plus.  
• English level: at least Intermediate (for working with contracts and vendors).

Nice to have

• Experience with SAM (Software Asset Management).  
• Familiarity with licensing policies of major vendors.  
• Experience working in international companies or multi‑vendor environments.
