Junior QA Manual Engineer

About the Role
As a Junior QA Engineer, you will be involved in testing web and/or mobile applications, ensuring new features meet quality standards, and helping improve the product at every stage.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manual Testing (Main Focus)
- Testing web and/or mobile applications
- Verifying new features before release
- Performing regression testing
- Checking UI/UX consistency with design
2. Bug Handling
- Identifying, documenting, and reporting bugs
- Reproducing issues and clarifying details
- Communicating with developers regarding fixes
3. Test Documentation
- Writing test cases and checklists
- Keeping test documentation up to date
- Describing user scenarios
4. Tools & Workflow
- Working with bug-tracking systems (Jira, Linear, ClickUp, or similar)
- Using test environments
API testing with Postman (nice to have)
Requirements
Must-have:
- Basic understanding of QA processes (SDLC, STLC)
- Understanding of testing types (functional, regression, smoke, etc.)
- Ability to clearly describe bugs
English level: B1 (reading technical documentation and basic understanding)
Key Skills:
- Attention to detail
- Logical thinking
- Ability to ask questions and analyze tasks
- Strong willingness to learn and grow in QA
Nice to Have:
- Any testing experience (courses or pet projects)
- Basic understanding of HTTP / APIs
- Experience with Jira or other task trackers
- Basic SQL knowledge
