Overview

We are looking for a skilled Data Steward to join a banking environment focused on Financial Crime Risk Management and Risk Analysis & Advisory. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in data governance within risk-related domains and be able to integrate quickly into an established Agile delivery team.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and maintain data governance practices within financial crime and risk management domains
• Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to ensure data quality, consistency, and usability
• Work closely with stakeholders across business, risk, and data functions
• Contribute to ongoing and new data migration initiatives
• Partner with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, Analysts, and Risk Officers to align data processes with business needs
• Ensure adherence to data standards, policies, and regulatory requirements

• Act as a reliable member of an established delivery setup, contributing from day one

   

Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant experience as a Data Steward or in a similar data-focused role
• Practical experience in anti-financial crime domain support
• Background in risk-related or advisory environments
• Experience working in cross-functional Agile teams
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams
• Experience in enterprise banking environments
• Proven involvement in data migration initiatives
• Ability to quickly adapt and integrate into existing teams and processes

• Willingness to work in a hybrid model (with occasional office presence)

• Exposure to regulatory frameworks related to financial crime (AML, KYC, etc.)
• Experience with data governance tools and frameworks
