Lead Product Owner

Position of a Lead Product Owner (corporate lending) at one of Europe’s largest banks, with over 30 years’ experience in the Ukrainian market.  Ranked in the top 5 for corporate lending in Ukraine.

Due to the development of our digital division and the transformation of lending products for the corporate segment (mid/large business), we are looking for a Product Lead who will be responsible for the development and transformation of lending solutions for large clients.

Project/product: development of the corporate lending portfolio, scaling, and digitalisation of lending products for mid/large businesses.

Team: 2 POs, Methodologist, Service Designer, BA + IT team (6 specialists) 

Location: Kyiv (City Centre office), full-time office/hybrid, occasional business trips within Ukraine and abroad.

 Requirements:

• 3+ years’ experience in the banking sector within the corporate lending or credit risk management department.
• Strong background as a product owner/lead or in a management role in credit risk management  for medium and large  businesses. 
• Understanding of the launch and development  of digital banking products in the corporate sector.
• Understanding of business processes within the bank (operations, customer journey, inter-departmental collaboration)
• Expertise and product vision  in the corporate lending segment of the Ukrainian market
• Practical experience working with backlogs, roadmaps and user stories within Agile/Scrum, experience with Jira and Figma.
• Experience in coordinating and managing cross-functional teams (business, IT, operations), and building effective relationships with stakeholders.
• Understanding of product and financial metrics (KPIs, unit economics, P&L).
• English – B1+

 Responsibilities: 

• Managing and scaling products within the corporate lending sector.
• Digitising existing products, including the optimisation of lending processes.
• Analysing and evaluating existing processes, followed by their optimisation and automation. 
• Analysing the market, the competitive landscape and the needs of corporate clients.
• Contributing to the development of a long-term product vision and growth strategy for the corporate sector
• Managing the product backlog with a focus on reducing Time-to-Delivery (TTD) and Time-to-Market (TTM).
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams (business, IT, operations), setting tasks for the IT team and monitoring their completion.
• Working on product performance and financial metrics: KPIs, unit economics, P&L
• Building effective collaboration with key stakeholders (risk, sales, marketing, CRM) to achieve business objectives
• Participating in the development of the product line’s growth strategy
