About the Position
We are on the hunt for a Senior Technical Product Owner to drive the trajectory of our client's specialized software portfolio. You will take the lead in mapping out the product’s roadmap, distilling and ranking critical functional needs, and partnering with multidisciplinary squads to produce peerless user journeys.

The ideal candidate is a creative yet resolute technology strategist with a deep-seated passion for API and Integration frameworks. You should be a proponent of "holistic solutioning," looking beyond basic features to account for performance scalability, market positioning, and revenue generation. We need a professional who lives at the intersection of customer feedback and industry innovation, capable of converting shifting market trends into robust, battle-ready software features while encouraging high-level technical discourse within your team.

 

Responsibilities

• Product Backlog: Build and oversee a high-value, ranked list of development tasks that mirrors the broader product strategy and commercial objectives.
• Prioritization: Weigh the importance of various functionalities to ensure resources are focused on the most impactful deliverables.
• Adaptability: Demonstrate the agility to pivot strategies when faced with evolving project requirements or market shifts.
• Teamwork: Cultivate a high-performing, collaborative environment across engineering, design, and business departments.
• Technical Understanding: Maintain a deep grasp of the underlying Java architecture and the modern software lifecycle.
• Problem-Solving: Proactively diagnose bottlenecks and engineer creative fixes for complex development hurdles.
• Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for high-level executives, external partners, and key clients.
• Product Launch: Direct the rollout and commercialization efforts for major feature updates and new software iterations.
• Empathy: Develop a profound understanding of end-user pain points to guide more intuitive product design.
• Negotiation: Mediate between conflicting interests and align diverse stakeholder groups toward a unified goal.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a SaaS environment.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
• Comfortable with ambiguity and the ability to work in a self-guided manner.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with product management/development management tools (e.g., Jira, Aha).
• Practical experience in software development is essential; you should possess the technical depth not only to comprehend system design but to actively influence and shape high-level architectural decisions.
• Past exeprience with Java.
• Experience in the creation of more than one product from inception to release.
• Approximately 10% travel may be required, including international travel.

• A significant background within the API or Application Integration (iPaaS) sector is highly preferred and will distinguish top-tier applicants.
