AI Agent/Automation Engineer

We are looking for an AI Agent / Automation Engineer to join a fast-growing US-based affiliate marketing company.
 

US-based affiliate marketing company (performance marketing) is looking to heavily automate its marketing operations using AI agents and autonomous workflows. The company currently has a small team of ~10 people with only 1 developer. They are in an active growth stage and want to build a set of intelligent AI agents that can handle video editing + ad posting, landing page creation, and overall marketing automation processes.

Your mission will be to become the main (and possibly the only) AI Automation Builder in the company — designing, building, and owning end-to-end AI agent systems that turn business needs into autonomous marketing processes.
 

Location: Remote.
Working Hours: Partial overlap with the US timezone — 3–4 hours.
 

Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing and building AI agents and agentic workflows from scratch (multi-agent systems, planning-execution-reflection loops).
• Translating marketing business problems into autonomous AI solutions (video ad creation & posting, landing page generation, full marketing automation).
• Architecting and implementing complex automation systems with LLM orchestration and tool usage.
• Working with APIs, external services, and orchestration tools to create reliable end-to-end workflows.
• Proactively suggesting improvements and new automation opportunities to increase efficiency and output.
• Taking full ownership of the AI automation direction with minimal supervision.
• Clearly communicating technical decisions and workflows to non-technical team members (marketers and leadership).
   

What we expect from you:

• Strong experience building AI agents and agentic workflows (this is a must-have, not just regular LLM integrations or simple API calls).
• Solid understanding of LLM orchestration, tools, and multi-agent systems (LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, n8n + AI nodes, or similar).
• Ability to think from the business problem first: understand affiliate marketing needs and turn them into effective AI automation.
• Strong ownership and proactive mindset — you don’t wait for detailed tasks, you solve problems and propose solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and structured thinking (you can design clear workflows and architectures).
• Good communication skills — you can explain complex AI systems in simple terms to non-engineers.
• English: B2+ or higher (you will work directly with an English-speaking US team).
• Strong Middle+ / Senior level with focus on intelligence, real agentic experience, and business thinking rather than just years of experience.
   

Nice to Have:

• Previous experience in marketing automation, ad creation, video generation, or affiliate marketing.
• Hands-on experience with Claude Code, OpenAI tools, or similar agentic platforms.
• Startup or small-team experience (you thrive in environments with high autonomy and minimal processes).
