The founder & CEO is currently deeply involved in day-to-day operations β€” including team coordination, process management, reporting, and execution control. While this hands-on approach has been important for the company’s growth so far, it is becoming less efficient at this stage.

This role is designed to take ownership of the operational side of the business: ensuring clarity, accountability, and consistent execution across the team, while enabling the founder & CEO to focus on strategic priorities such as brand development, product expansion, and long-term growth.

Requirements

πŸ”Ή 3+ years managing operations for an Amazon FBA brand ($2M+ annual revenue)
πŸ”Ή Managed at least 3 remote team members directly
πŸ”Ή Advanced daily user of AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT) β€” with demonstrable examples
πŸ”Ή English fluency β€” this is a writing-heavy role; communication must be crystal clear
πŸ”Ή Available during core hours: 9 AM–2 PM AST (UTC-4)
πŸ”Ή Built SOPs and operational systems from scratch
πŸ”Ή Proficient in Amazon Seller Central: inventory, IPI score, stranded inventory, FBA shipments
πŸ”Ή Proficient in Asana (or equivalent) and Excel/Google Sheets

⚠️ This role includes a 90-day probationary period with performance evaluations at 30, 60, and 90 days.


Responsibilities

πŸ”Έ Directly manage inventory/ops lead, graphic designer, and PPC team
πŸ”Έ Run daily async standups, weekly team meetings, and weekly 1-on-1s
πŸ”Έ Build KPI frameworks for every role; hold people accountable
πŸ”Έ Handle all performance issues β€” late deliverables, unclear work, sub-standard output

πŸ“¦ Inventory & Supply Chain
πŸ”Έ Review and approve all reorder recommendations before POs go to suppliers
πŸ”Έ Verify sales velocity, lead times, safety stock, and FBA receiving timelines
πŸ”Έ Own the shipment pipeline: supplier β†’ freight β†’ FBA inbound β†’ 3PL coordination
πŸ”Έ Monitor sell-through rates, days of supply, and proactively flag stockout risks
πŸ”Έ Run a weekly inventory review covering stock levels, inbound status, and flags

πŸ”Έ Run weekly PPC check-ins; collect reports, format data, flag anomalies
